About Us

PSECDP operates as a private, non-profit childcare program, funded by parent tuition. The program is licensed to provide childcare for children 6 weeks- 5 years old by the Maryland State Department of Education.

Our Philosophy

Children learn best through play, especially when actively engaged in developmentally appropriate experiences.

Through play, children explore their world, develop natural interests, and grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.

Our Daily Approach:

Each day includes large group, small group, and individual activities with a balance of teacher-led and child-led experiences, plus active and quiet times.
